Tons of garbage were kept through the cooperation of all government agencies, private organizations, and the constituents of municipality of Trento in the” National Clean-Up day” on September 17, 2016.
All of the 16 barangays headed by respective Punong Barangay cleaned-up those public areas and collected residual, special, recyclable, and biodegradable wastes which were delivered to the garbage dump site.
Likewise, government employees in the local government unit and national government agencies cleaned-up the public areas in Barangay Poblacion.
The nationwide activity was documented using Geo Map Cameras submitted to the central office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
The intention of the activity was to boost the spirit of volunteerism and social harmony to organize clean-up activities that will help address the country’s solid waste problem.
